Workshop Policies

Workshop Policies

Workshops and Open Studio sessions at Wendling Willows Basketry are small, hands-on experiences working directly with willow and hand tools. The information below outlines expectations for participation, cancellations, and studio guidelines.

Participation

Workshops and Open Studio sessions involve the use of hand tools and natural materials. By registering, you accept responsibility for your participation and agree to use the studio, tools, and materials with appropriate care.

During workshops, participants are expected to follow all safety guidance provided during the session.

Open Studio is intended for students with previous willow basketry experience and is independent working time rather than instruction. Participants should be comfortable using basketry tools and working independently on their projects.

Cancellations

Payment is required to reserve your place.

If your plans change, you may cancel up to 14 days before your workshop or Open Studio date to receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made within 14 days are non-refundable. If the session fills, your place may be transferred to another participant.

If Wendling Willows Basketry must cancel a workshop or Open Studio session due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund.

Photography

Photographs may be taken during workshops and Open Studio sessions for documentation and website use. Please let us know in advance if you prefer not to be photographed.
